Newport Church is hiring pastoral staff.
We are looking to fill both a part-time pastoral role and a full-time pastoral role.
We are looking to add an Executive/Administrative pastor to help Newport Church grow as an organization in impacting our community and online with the Gospel of the Kingdom of God. This person should be organized and able to lead the charge with details in the ministry from scheduling building maintenance repairs and computer maintenance, to helping to catch all the details in planning large scale events and services, leadership training initiatives and organizational development of the church and teams. This person should be a good “middle captain” person, who is self-motivated but can take direction from the lead pastor.
- We are looking to add a Community Life pastor to assist in building various ministry aspects in Newport Church including Life Groups, visitation ministry teams, discipleship tracks. This person should have a great way with people and be a good listener. They should be able to work with many volunteers and able to provide coaching and training of current and future leaders. Counseling ministry experience would be considered a great plus. This person should be a good “middle captain” person, who is self-motivated but can take direction from the lead pastor.
These are the basic elements of the roles that we are looking to fill. In reality, the various components of each role could be matched up to the particular gift mix of individual applicants.
