Our goals for worship at Newport are to create a worshipful atmosphere where people can meet with God. We see people connect with Jesus personally and grow in relationship with Him so that we can be more effective in showing Jesus to others. As we set our hearts to Worship Jesus we experience His Kingdom in us and through us.
Enter His gates with Thanksgiving, and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name. For the Lord is good and His love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations.

1. Let's worship
Seeking God to give thanks and praise. Blessing the heart of Jesus and worshiping wholeheartedly in freedom.
2. Help worship
Being a conduit that the Holy Spirit can freely flow through so the congregation can connect in Spirit and truth. Offering our gifts on and off the stage. We are all leaders ushering in intimacy with our Father.
3. Excellence, not perfection
Coming in rehearsed and solid so as to avoid keeping people from distraction and to assist them in unhindered seeking of God face to face. "Excellence is about doing the right thing". It is focused on the REASON for a task and the RESULTS for it to be a success. "Perfection is focused on doing the thing 'right'. How things APPEAR and if OTHERS think it's done right."
4. Joy
Even in the pursuit of excellence, we find rest in front of God.
