This January we are preparing to go on a church wide journey to greater spiritual and personal freedom in Christ Jesus. The Freedom Curriculum is a twelve week book study, in conjunction with small groups, that will culminate in a Freedom event at the end. As we get ready for this, we are asking each of you to start praying…pray for unity, hearts to be prepared, for the Word of God to shine in our hearts and lives for every person. There are several ways to get involved:
- Pray for the church as we prepare to lead our first Freedom small group study at Newport.
- Consider joining a small group and being part of this journey.
- This can be a great outreach and relationship opportunity. Pray about who you can invite to join you in this study.
- Consider being a small group Host. No special requirements. We help you every step of the way. We don’t yet have enough small group leaders, so pray if this could be something you could help with in January.
